LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A decade-old interview of Robert F Kennedy Jr's daughter, Kick Kennedy, resurfaced online after the environmental lawyer suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump.

The interview went viral for the sordid tale the 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' actress revealed about witnessing her father beheading a whale with a chainsaw, as per The Daily Beast.

Kick, in a December 2012 interview with Town & Country, divulged the bizarre story, describing it as "just normal day-to-day stuff." At the time of the interview, she was a "budding actress" and a hardcore environmentalist like Kennedy Jr.

Around 1994, her father heard about a washed-up whale at a beach in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Then, six-year-old Kick accompanied her anti-vaxxer father, who carried a chainsaw to decapitate the whale's head.

"Every time we accelerated on the highway, whale juice would pour into the windows of the car, and it was the rankest thing on the planet," 'The Newsroom' actress said.

"We all had plastic bags over our heads with mouth holes cut out, and people on the highway were giving us the finger, but that was just normal day-to-day stuff for us."

According to Town & Country's Hudson Morgan, "Kick's taste for the extreme was fed by her dad's eccentric environmentalism. Exhibit A: When she was six, word got out that a dead whale had washed up on Squaw Island in Hyannis Port."

Her father's bear carcass "prank" in New York City's Central Park was a mystery for years until he disclosed to Roseanne Barr recently that he staged it to fool people into thinking the dead bear cub was killed by a bicycle.
