GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Former independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr joined former president Donald Trump on stage at his Arizona rally hours after suspending his campaign and endorsing the GOP nominee, on Friday, August 23.

Trump praised Kennedy Jr's work as an environmental lawyer while introducing him at the event, stating, "I also want to salute Bobby’s decades of work as an advocate for the health of our families and children. Nobody has done more."

"Millions of Americans who want clean air, clean water, and a healthy nation have concerns about toxins in our environment and pesticides in our food," he said, promising to create an expert panel "working with Bobby to investigate what is causing the decades-long increase in chronic health problems and childhood diseases."

RFK Jr addresses Donald Trump as 'the president'

Kennedy Jr shared that he first met Trump during the 2024 campaign on the advice of a safe food advocate who was their mutual adviser. The conversations between them took place after the former president faced a failed assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, in mid-July.

"We talked not about the things that separate us, but on the issues that bind us together," he shared. "One of the things that we talked about was having safe food and ending the chronic disease epidemic. Our children are unhealthy and the sickest children in the world."

"The best way to build a safe America is to rebuild our industrial base and rebuild the middle class in this country," instead of spending money on foreign wars, argued RFK Jr, indicating that it was what Trump intended. He also highlighted that the latter was for protecting "America's freedoms" against "censorship" and "totalitarianism."

"And I ask you again, don't you want a safe environment for your children? Don't you want to know that the food that you are feeding them is not filled with chemicals that will give them cancer and chronic disease? And don't you want a president that is going to make America healthy again?" he concluded, hailing the GOP nominee.

"RFK knocking his speeches out of the park today," quipped a sixth.

"This is a very serious issue. If President Trump can get @RobertKennedyJr into a position where he can ensure they stop poisoning us, it would change everything for Americans," wrote yet another.
