CHAPPAQUA, NEW YORK: Newsmax anchor Rob Finnerty commented on the Jeffrey Epstein case, saying that former President Bill Clinton “failed to control himself,” which led to his entanglement in the controversy. However, the main focus of Finnerty’s remarks was his criticism of Hillary Clinton.

He says Hillary stayed with Bill for all these years because she had “a keen interest to become the president,” adding that she was ultimately “trapped by her own ambition.”

The former secretary of state recently testified in a closed-door deposition for the Epstein case and has been making headlines since.  She was asked several questions about the late financier but responded that she didn’t have additional information, noting that she had never met him.

Rob Finnerty claims Hillary Clinton was always driven by her ambition to become president

As Hillary Clinton faces scrutiny over the Jeffrey Epstein case, Finnerty shared his perspective. He questioned how Hillary could have stayed with Bill for so many years and suggested it’s hard to believe she was unaware of his connections with Epstein.

"Today, Hillary Clinton testified behind closed doors in Chappaqua before the House Oversight Committee. Both Republicans and Democrats were there. Democrats didn't do anything, but at least one party, Republicans, are actually interested in getting to the truth," the Newsmax anchor said.

Finnerty added, "One of the things I learned today is that Bill Clinton couldn't control himself, and because Hillary always wanted to be president, she could never leave him because she always wanted to be president, trapped by her own ambition."

He also said, "Everything this woman has ever done has been centered around this notion that one day she would be elected president." He said that Bill and Hillary even attended Donald and Melania Trump’s wedding years before Trump entered politics, because Hillary was aware of Trump’s wealth and influence.

Finnerty suggested that Hillary anticipated Trump might one day support a presidential campaign, making it ironic that in 2016, Trump would formally end her political career. He continued, "For decades, Hillary's played the role of innocent housewife, who had no idea what Bill was up to, imagine that."

He went on to present a theory: "They've been married for more than 50 years. She'd never divorce him because she needed him if she ever wanted to become president. So she just looked the other way from the beginning. Even when he was palling around with Jeffrey Epstein, Hillary Clinton looked the other way."

Hillary Clinton says she 'answered every one of their questions as fully as I could'

Following a six-and-a-half-hour closed-door meeting with the House Oversight Committee, Hillary Clinton said she had “answered every one of their questions as fully as I could based on what I knew.” She emphasized that she had never met Epstein and had no contact with him.

“I don’t know how many times I had to say, ‘I did not know Epstein,’” she told reporters. Clinton said she knew Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later convicted in connection with Epstein’s crimes, only “casually as an acquaintance.” She added that Maxwell attended her daughter Chelsea Clinton’s 2010 wedding “as the plus one, the guest, of someone who was invited.”
