A look at the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees: From Ozzy Osbourne to Foreigner
This year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees include names like Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, and Peter Frampton. The announcement was reportedly made during the April 21 broadcast of ‘American Idol’ while the induction ceremony will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 19. Let’s take a look at the inductees’ list.
1. Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne’s name has been included in the Performer Category. About the honor, he reportedly said that it “feels big". "I’m more than honored," he added. This came a year after Ozzy’s wife Sharon Osbourne slammed the Rock Hall and said, “I will never ask for favors. I’ve never asked anyone for a favor. So, my thing is f**k you if you don’t realize that somebody really deserves to be here. And you don’t recognize that? Then, see ya.”
2. Cher
Cher is also one of the inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Performer Category. The Rock Hall has described the 77-year-old singer as “iconic” and “the Goddess of Pop,” who has continued to rule the Billboard for the past several decades.
3. Mary J Blige
