The 66-year-old was identified by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office who released his photograph over social media.
Ronald Lee Syvrud's criminal past
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Ronald Lee Syrvud has outstanding warrants against him from the state of Wisconsin for DUI, failure to appear for DUI, and from Graham County Arizona for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.
Moreover, the department also has an absconder hold for Syvrud for failing to register as a sex offender.
In the recent weeks, Syvrud posted multiple threats against Donald Trump on social media, according to Cochise County public information officer Carol Capas.
However, Capas refused to name the platform on which the threats were made.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office shared on their official Facebook page that Syvrud is a resident of Benson, Arizona, a city located about 50 miles southeast of Tucson.
The post also made a public appeal seeking help to locate Syvrud. "If anyone has information on the whereabouts of this subject, call your local law enforcement agency or 9-1-1,” the release said.
Donald Trump set to address a rally in Cochis County
Donald Trump is presently in Cochise County where he will be making a statement over the United States-Mexico border.
Texas Republican Veronica Escobar, from the border city of El Paso, said, “Forget what you hear on the news, I’m from there. … When it comes to the border, hear me when I say, you know nothing, Donald Trump.”
He recently gave a remark before the event over DNC. “It’s like they’re having a party. They don’t mention the border. All they do is make up lies about me,” the GOP presidential nominee complained, reports 'Fox & Friends.'
Trump is set to visit the southern border in Cochise County, Arizona, on Thursday, August 22, as he continues to criticize the Biden administration’s border policies.
Thomas Crooks gunned down by Secret Service agents
The threat against former president Donald Trump’s life has come weeks after he served an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Thomas Crooks fired multiple shots at Trump while he was speaking at a campaign rally on July 13. He remained majorly unharmed with the exception of a bullet grazing his right year.
Fortunate as he was, Trump’s survival is considered a close call and is understandably a traumatic event for him.
