GREYCLIFF, MONTANA: Country singer Rory Feek's daughters - Heidi and Hopie Feek, said that they are 'taking action' against their father, whom they claim has cut them off from contacting their 10-year-old sister Indiana and put her in harm’s way, per People.

The country singer shared a blog post titled "love, dad" on Sunday, September 1, and addressed allegations made by his daughters who have claimed that Indiana is not safe with him, as per Page Six.

Heidi Feek wrote an open letter to her father in response to his blog post where she said, "You’re right of course, online isn’t the place to settle this. We don’t know if you are aware, but we’ve been trying to reach you for months now offline, but you haven’t been responding."

She continued, "Our hope is that this letter will find you, so you can know where our hearts are. Love is action, not words. We forgive you for your unkind words. You called us cowardly in your blog post for not facing you. We forgive you."

She also added, "The last time we sat down to have this conversation, without a mediator as you requested, you told us you were done being our father. We forgive you."

Heidi also attached a screenshot of many unanswered text messages to her dad that were sent at different times in July asking about Indiana, whom Heidi says she last saw in June 2024, according to People.

She also mentioned in the letter, "We found peace in our own lives and have taken the long journey of healing. We have come out stronger on the other side of our childhoods. My heart aches for Joey. You went on to say, ‘For the first time in her life, she has a mother.’ How can you say that?"

She then wrote, "Love is action. And we love our little sister Indiana more than anything in the world. So we are taking action. Love, your daughters."

Rory Feek denies allegations made by older daughters

Rory Feek denied the claims of neglecting his daughter Indiana amid an ongoing "family dispute" with his older daughters Heidi and Hopie. He disparaged the allegations that his younger daughter was unable to visit her sisters, saying that she could do so "anytime."

He wrote in his blog titled "love, dad", "Heidi doesn’t think she has to respect my wishes when it comes to her little sister. They want [Indiana] to watch the movies they want to play for her, listen to the songs they want her to hear, and be exposed to the things they want to expose her to."

He added that he knows what his late wife, Joey Feek, "would want" and is committed to "standing firmly on not compromising the values and principles that are important to [him] to raise [Indiana] with."

Rory also claimed that Heidi and Hopie had "forfeited their right to speak to their little sister" when a police officer visited him in the spring, claiming his eldest daughter was suing him, per Page Six.
