LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Roseanne Barr’s son Jake Pentland has slammed his mother’s 'Roseanne' cast members as he accused them of conspiring to oust her from her own show.

Speaking with TMZ, Pentland agreed that the "real harm was done, but insists his mother was the person who suffered."

Roseanne Barr’s son says 'Roseanne' cast took her social media posts out of context

Barr’s son also further alleged that the cast of the iconic sitcom conspired to steal her own show from her “after taking her social media post out of context” and failed to ask her point of view.

He even accused them of stopping her from publicly presenting her side of the story.

Roseanne Barr calls Barack Obama’s advisor, Valerie Jarrett, an 'ape'

The 48-year-old's response came after Michael Fishman supported the cancellation of the reboot of the 1988 show.

It was scrapped over the comedian’s controversial 2018 social media rant, including one where she reportedly compared former President Barack Obama’s advisor, Valerie Jarrett, to an “ape.”

Michael Fishman claims 'show was rightfully canceled'

In a recent Instagram reel, Fisherman, who played Roseanne’s son DJ Conner, supported ABC’s decision to fire the 73-year-old actress in 2018.

He said, “After eight years, turning the other cheek is really not helping. So, I guess the world failed to learn the lesson, so I’m going to point out — we are perpetuating a lie and people are using a political smoke screen to justify the indefensible.”

"The brilliant comedians help us laugh at the darkest, darkest topics. Sadly, in this case, there was no joke. And the show was rightfully canceled," the former child star added.

Roseanne Barr says her post was 'political' and not 'racial'

But unlike what Barr's son has claimed now, she did defend herself in October 2018 as she appeared for an interview with Sean Hannity.

At the time, the writer said that her posts were “about asking for accountability from the previous administration about the Iran deal, which Valerie Jarrett is the author of, and that was what was in my head.”

She even expressed her shock over the backlash, stating that “they were saying it was racial, when it’s political.”

Barr even sat down for a 2018 podcast interview with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, where she said, “When you hurt people, even unwillingly, there’s no excuse. I don’t want to run off and blather on with excuses.”

“But I apologize to anyone who thought or felt offended and who thought that I meant something that I, in fact, did not mean. It was my own ignorance, and there’s no excuse for that ignorance,” she added.
