DUBLIN, IRELAND: Rosie O’Donnell has fired back at President Donald Trump after he once again suggested revoking her US citizenship in a social media post.

The former talk show host responded with sharp words, invoking cultural references and calling herself “the distraction” while pointing to more serious issues.

Rosie O’Donnell says Trump's threat is a distraction from Epstein

Donald Trump escalated their long-running feud by sharing a doctored image of Rosie O’Donnell's bloated face, saying he was “giving serious thought” to stripping her of citizenship, branding her “not a great American” and “incapable” of ever being one.

O’Donnell, who moved to Ireland earlier this year, did not let the jab go unanswered.

In a post on Instagram, she shared a screenshot of Trump’s message with a fiery caption: “Banishing me again? Logan Roy would be proud. I'm the distraction - EPSTEIN SURVIVORS are the reckoning, and your gold lamé throne is melting. Only Rosie O’Donnell.”

Internet divided over Rosie O’Donnell’s response to Trump

Rosie O’Donnell’s sharp comeback triggered a wave of online responses. Supporters praised her courage, while critics dismissed her remarks.

One fan wrote, “Anything to divert attention off Epstein,” and another said, “You are a wonderful person and I look forward to you starting a new podcast. I miss your podcast more than you know.❤️🤗”

“Rosie must be doing something right,” another supporter added. Others applauded her resilience, with one remarking, “Dreadful photo: she is awesome. 👏👏.”

Some critics urged her to move on. One commented, “Do you actually want to be a citizen anymore? Get Irish citizenship. We are more than happy to have you."

Rosie O’Donnell relocated to Ireland after Trump's reelection

Earlier this year, Rosie O’Donnell revealed she had relocated to Ireland with her child, citing Donald Trump’s presidency as the reason.

“When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” she said in a TikTok video.

Her decision followed years of clashes with Trump, who has repeatedly labeled her an enemy. In July, he claimed O’Donnell was “not in the best interests of our Great Country” and a supposed “threat to humanity,” suggesting she should lose her citizenship.
