PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani had no complaints about receiving the indictment notice in the Arizona fake electors case, but he was not satisfied with the manner in which it was served.

Giuliani, who rose to fame for his exemplary leadership after the 9/11 attack, became infamous for his role as former President Donald Trump's attorney, during which he allegedly plotted to overturn the 2020 election in favor of his client.

Last month, he was indicted along with 17 other allies of the ex-POTUS for their alleged effort to reverse Joe Biden's 2020 election victory in Arizona in a case brought by the state's Attorney General Kris Mayes.

However, the officials were unable to locate Giuliani to serve him with the notice. Finally, they served it during the former Trump lawyer's early 80th birthday celebration in Palm Beach, Florida, on May 17.

Rudy Giuliani complains about lack of style

Giuliani was unhappy about the indictment notice because it "wasn't done stylishly," according to Newsweek.

The soon-to-be octogenarian voiced his bizarre complaint during a live stream with his co-host and girlfriend, Maria Ryan, on Sunday, May 19.

"So one guy, he walked in between a couple of people who didn't know who he was. And he handed me a folded up, crumpling piece of paper. It was a crumpling piece of paper. It wasn't like done stylishly," Giuliani whined. "And he handed it to me, and he said, this is from Arizona Attorney General. I still don't have the indictment."

According to Ted Goodman, the attorney's spokesperson, Giuliani, was served with the notice after the party while he was walking to the car. Goodman added the ex-NYC mayor was "unfazed and enjoyed an incredible evening with hundreds of people."

In an X (formerly Twitter) post on May 18, Giuliani denied the media reports that said the indictment ruined his birthday party. Issuing a "FAKE NEWS ALERT," he declared the party was not ruined or interrupted; instead, he had an "incredible night" with friends, including Steve Bannon and Roger Stone.

Besides Arizona, Giuliani is a co-defendant of Trump in the election subversion case in Georgia. He pleaded not guilty in both cases.

In addition, he was recently terminated from his radio show for speaking about 2020 election fraud violating the company policy.

Internet trolls Rudy Giuliani for complaining about unstylish serving of indictment notice

Netizens trolled the once-celebrated mayor and suggested he could receive it with style next time.

One user asked, "Does he need a giant stamp on his forehead?" Another remarked, "It looked like California Casual for the shindig...what'd he want, a tuxedoed sheriff with a covered silver serving dish?"

Meanwhile, a user jokingly said, "Next time." One response read, "The agent sang happy birthday with them first hahahahaha."

Another person quipped, "Oh Rudy, maybe they should have served it on a gold platter?"

Someone else shared a GIF that read, "THAT'S A SHAME." And another GIF shared with the caption "NOT" had the funny quote, "We're so sorry!"

"Rudy Giuliani complains getting served indictment "wasn't done stylishly" Because the drippy-hair-dye guy is stylish," another user added.
