Rumer Willis combines letters from Bruce Willis' favorite singers to name her daughter
Rumer took to her Instagram Story on December 19 to post a picture of herself and her baby and wrote, "Her name is a mix of things I love."
"I have always loved the name Lou so was thinking of that for both a boy or a girl but then when we found out she was a girl we came up with Louetta," she continued.
"We wanted to give her options. Me and my dad's favorite singers are Lou= Louie Armstrong, Etta= Etta James, Isley= Isley Brother," Rumer added.

Rumer Willis calls naming her daughter a 'divine intervention'
The 'Empire' alum sees her daughter's name as a sweet homage to honor her relationship with her father Bruce who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
The 'Die Hard Star' was diagnosed with the condition in February. However, the journey to her daughter's name was not just rooted in Rumer's and her father's shared musical interests.
In an August interview with People, Rumer revealed that the naming process began as a typo. "We were thinking about the name Loretta, and it was a typo," admitted Rumer admitted.
"Her dad and I were texting, and he left the 'R' out of Loretta, and it was just Louetta," she added.
Considering it a special moment, she said, "I feel like it was one of those kind of divine intervention universe moments. And we figured it out actually quite early in my pregnancy."
The couple also gave significance to the versatility of the baby's name, intending to provide her own identity in the future.
"If she doesn't feel like a Louetta, she can go by Lou, she can go by Etta," Rumer shared. "She can go change it up throughout her life. Whatever she wants," she added.
