LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Los Angeles wildfires have destroyed the beachfront home of late Hollywood star Ryan O’Neal.
His daughter, Tatum O’Neal, revealed the heartbreaking loss of her father’s property, which he once shared with actress Farrah Fawcett, on Threads on Sunday, January 12.

Responding to a heartbreaking video about the devastating wildfires burning down celebrity homes, Tatum O'Neal shared that her father’s iconic Malibu home was also destroyed.
"It’s the saddest ever so sad I could cry. My father’s house is gone Malibu gone," the 61-year-old actress wrote.
Later, Tatum joined conversations online about the fire’s damage. "Gone gone gone gone. It’s so scary. I am so freaking sad," Tatum wrote, reacting to a news clip discussing the destruction.
The ongoing fires in Los Angeles have already displaced 80,000 people and claimed 24 lives, according to official reports. As of Monday, January 13, the fires have burned through 40,588 acres, destroying over 12,300 structures, including the homes of celebrities like Adam Brody, Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, and Spencer Pratt.
Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett lived in plush beachfront home for years
Ryan O’Neal shared the iconic Malibu property with Farrah Fawcett during their long relationship, which began in 1979.
While the couple never married, they lived together in the luxurious 2,344-square-foot home for years. Ryan's Malibu home, bought in 1976 for just $151,000, was part of a $30 million estate he left behind.
Farrah died from cancer in 2009 at the age of 62. Ryan was buried next to her at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary after his death in December 2023 at age 82, as per People.
Ryan's estate included notable assets, such as an Andy Warhol portrait of the 'Charlie's Angels' actress, which the actor fought to keep, as reported by the New York Post.

Tatum O’Neal's bond with her father had its ups and downs. After being estranged for 20 years, the father-daughter duo reconciled following Farrah Fawcett's death.
They even starred in their own reality show, 'Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals', in 2011.
The 'Little Darlings' actress has been candid about her struggles, including an overdose in 2020.
Despite the challenges, she reunited with Ryan twice before his death, including a visit to Malibu for his 82nd birthday in April 2023.
In her 2005 memoir, 'A Paper Life', Tatum discussed her complicated relationship with her father, alleging abusive behavior. However, she also expressed her enduring love for him, according to the Post.
