LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Veteran actress Sally Struthers opened up about her not-so-fond memories of late Hollywood legend Betty White during her appearance on the Monday, January 13 episode of the podcast 'Let's Talk About That! With Larry Saperstein and Jacob Bellotti,' reported People.

The 77-year-old 'All In The Family' star did not hesitate to dish out that White, who died in 2021 at the age of 99, had once "fat-shamed" her when she was visiting her house for work.

Sally Struthers complaints against Betty White

During the podcast, Sally Struthers shared that the house used for the exterior of the 'Golden Girls' house was "up the street" from where she used to live in Brentwood, LA. Betty White famously played the character of Rose Nylund in the series, which ran from 1985 to 1992.

Struthers brought up the late actress on that note, stating that she would like to discuss her "now that she’s gone."

“I know everybody loves her. They loved her so much,” she said. “They signed petitions to get her to guest host 'Saturday Night Live'. I know all that. I didn't have such a great experience with her.” She called her a “very passive-aggressive woman.”

She went on to share an experience she had while visiting White's house to work on a pilot for a new game show, and the latter asked her housekeeper to bring them something to eat.

"The plate was set in the middle and it was cookies, I think. So I reached for a cookie and she (White) said in front of everyone, ‘Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you dear, you don't need a cookie,’" Struthers recalled.

As the podcast host appeared shocked by the revelation, she added, "Totally fat-shamed me in front of the rest of the people in the room. And I thought, ‘Gosh, that's not nice.’”
