Sammi Giancola said during the Thursday episode of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation', "This has been a very long process, it's been a lot of shots, it's been a lot of hormones. Notably, Sammi suffered the pregnancy loss shortly before Justin proposed her after two years of dating, per US Weekly.

Sammi revealed in the episode that May took her out to a birthday dinner with her friends and family, before getting down on one knee and asking her to be his wife.

She said, "I am just like, in awe. I've dreamt of this moment my entire life. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Justin coming into my life made my life a million times better."

She went on to praise her fiance saying, "He is just everything I could ever ask for in a man. He's patient. He's support and I just love and adore him so much."

Giancola had gone public with her engagement on April 1 with a post that showed her flashing her engagement ring.

She captioned it, "Life update: Fiance [heart emoji] 3.16.24. The easiest question I’ve ever answered.. happiest & luckiest girl in the world. I’ll love you forever and then some. Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Not an April fools joke."

Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola called IVF journey 'a long road'

Sammi Giancola told E! News earlier that she and Justin May were "going through" the IVF process together. Praising May, she said, "He is so supportive through the whole thing. He's very positive. He keeps me going and he couldn't be a better partner with this all. He's just amazing."

She predicted around that time that IVF was going to be "a long road" and that she was "dealing with it and whatever happens next will happen".

Before dating May, Sammi earlier had an on-off relationship with castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro during the 'Jersey Shore' original run from 2009 to 2012. The couple called it quits for good in 2016.

She began dating YouTuber and entrepreneur Christian Biscardi in 2017. They got engaged in 2019 and planned to marry in 2020, before the Covid-19 pandemic spoiled their plans. In July that year, Giancola confirmed publicly that they split in a social media post.
