Sara Foster says Backstreet Boys were 'so nice, very respectful' as she recalls auditioning 70,000 times
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sara Foster cherished the moment when she got to feature in Backstreet Boys music video in 2000.
During her recent appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen', the star shared, “The audition process — you would think I was auditioning for a [Martin] Scorsese movie. I auditioned 70,000 times. It was so crazy,” she told the host about featuring in the ‘Shape of My Heart’ music video.
“They were so nice, but I think because of my dad they were all very respectful,” Foster said, referring to her father, record producer and film composer David Foster. “I was like, 'No you don’t need to be respectful. Like it’s fine.'”

Sara Foster also joked that she would have dated any of the five members back in the day. “I would’ve taken any of them. But they were so respectful,” she said.
Interestingly, it was also the beginning of the end for the boy band, after the popular song ‘Shape of My Heart’ got out.
Though the group continued to work, it went on hiatus after the release of album ‘Black & Blue.’
Backstreet Boys also recently came up with a studio album, ‘DNA’ in 2019, reports People.
Kevin Richardson first parted ways in 2006, deciding to focus on raising a family with wife Kristin, though, they still managed to release ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘This Is Us.’
Despite various challenges, the group still continues to deliver new music and in 2022 its first-ever Christmas album came out, and they celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2023.
