Sarah Jessica Parker left furious after thieves steal purple pumpkins from her NYC residence on Halloween
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sarah Jessica Parker was left dismayed on Halloween after a group of tricksters reportedly stole her carefully-arranged display of purple pumpkins from her West Village residence in New York City.
The actress had decorated her home’s stoop with an inviting setup featuring purple and gold pumpkins, only for it to be ruined by thieves.

Photographs taken earlier in the week by Daily Mail showed Parker’s home adorned with a festive array of purple and gold pumpkins.
These vibrant decorations had been displayed at the entryway, welcoming visitors and neighbors alike.
However, by the end of Halloween night on October 31, the once-decorative display was stripped, leaving only a few orange pumpkins and some candles.

In response to the theft, Jessica Parker posted few signs on her door that read, "Shame on pumpkin thieves!!!"
In addition to the signs, what looks like a surveillance camera still capturing the theft has been taped to the front door of her home.
Sarah Jessica Parker faced similar theft in 2019
This incident echoes another theft in 2019, where Sarah Jessica Parker had also been targeted by pumpkin thieves.
At that time, the pumpkins, which she had personally selected and transported from the Berkshires, vanished from the front of her home.
“APB out for our beautiful pumpkins, carefully chosen and lugged all the way home from the Berkshires in Massachusetts,” she captioned a video of her empty stoop following the theft.
“Distinguishing features- round and orange. Various sizes. Not yet carved,” shared Sarah Jessica Parker, lamenting the incident.

Parker noted that her pumpkins weren’t the only ones taken in 2019. She said, "All of our pumpkins were stolen, as were all the other pumpkins on our block. It is officially the Halloween heist of 2019.”
Her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, had commented on the situation, stating, "Decency is dead.”
Theives strike Sarah Jessica Parker's $35 million home
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have lived in their West Village townhouse since purchasing it in 2016.
The couple, who tied the knot in 1997, initially bought two adjacent townhouses for $34.5 million accordign to Hello! Magzine.
Over several years, they meticulously renovated and combined the two properties into a single $35 million residence.
The duo share the home with their three children: son James, 22, and 15-year-old twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha.
The couple, who previously owned a townhouse between 2000 and 2015 as well as a Greek Revival townhouse in Greenwich between 2011 and 2015, have often chosen distinctive properties.
