LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: LeBron James is known for posting videos of himself grooving to music in his car. James has an amazing collection of cars, and his connections with singers and rappers are proof positive that he loves cars and music.

The NBA player posted many videos of himself having a low-key time on Instagram Stories on Wednesday (March 13) night while sporting chic brown driving gloves. As he continued to drive, a different R&B song was playing on each slide.

The video gave fans a peek of the 20-time NBA All-Star's greatest 90s hits, including Silk's 'Lose Control,' Johnny Gill's 'There U Go,' Mary J. Blige's 'I Don't Want To Do Anything,' and Avant's 'Read Your Mind.'

Many users made fun of James and made allusions to movies while he was driving, while others took offense at the fact that he was filming for his social media while driving. A few people laughed at his driving gloves in the meantime.

James' Instagram Stories arrived hours after the Sacramento Kings defeated the team 120-107, in which he played 40 minutes and finished with 18 points.

In 40 minutes of action, James recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. He was unusually the fourth-highest scorer for the Lakers in their losing effort, yet he was one assist shy from a triple-double.

With 28 points, Austin Reaves led purple and gold, followed by Anthony Davis with 22 and Rui Hachimura with 20, per Daily Mail.

Internet users divided over LeBron James' early morning 'freeway' drive

X (Twitter) users had mixed opinions when James posted videos of himself driving on a California roadway early on Thursday morning to his Instagram story.

One X user retweeted the shared clip and wrote: "Kings beat the Lakers so bad that LeBron James drove his GT3 around aimlessly at night with driving gloves on."

A second user wrote, "Reminds of the driving montage from Rocky IV when he’s deciding if he’s going to Russia to fight Ivan Drago or not."

"I just never understand why people film themselves exceeding the speed limit, Or film themselves while driving and not hands free. I just dont get it," stated a third user.

One user exclaimed, "What tf is that glove for lmao," referring to James' gloves.

Other comments made fun of the fact that James' wife Savannah abandoned him after screenshots of the four-time NBA Champion's conversation with Lakers president Jeanie Buss went viral.

"LeBron aimlessly driving around LA cuz Savannah is still mad and he don't wanna go home," quipped one such user.

Another one exclaimed, "Ever since he was seen being friendly with Jeanie Buss... His house probably ain't have no peace!!"

Another X account commented, "LeBron never gonna hear the end of this. Savannah got bro in hell."

Meanwhile, other fans made note of the fact that he was probably making his way home from the airport following a 107-120 loss to the Kings in Sacramento.

"Win: DLo signed a baby loss: Lebron randomly driving around after losing to the kings this is what occupies my brain after a game now," noted one user.

Another one snarked, "Sabonis and Barnes got my franchise player driving on the freeway at 1 AM listening to R&B."
