Kim Kardashian's recent promotion of her 14-year-old nephew Mason Disick's Instagram account has sparked both admiration and criticism from internet users, as the teenager's follower count rapidly soared to over 680,000 within just four days.

Mason Disick, the son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, made his Instagram debut on May 25, Saturday, sharing typical teenage snapshots and glimpses into his life.

Kim Kardashian, 43, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, posting a screenshot of Mason's profile and encouraging her followers to join his growing fanbase. Despite Mason's initial impressive following of 509,000 before Kim's endorsement, her promotion quickly propelled his follower count to 680K.

However, Kim's promotion of Mason's account didn't go unnoticed by internet users, drawing a mix of reactions. Some criticized the move, questioning the family's motives and ethics, while others viewed it as a harmless endorsement.

While some internet users speculated about the family's intentions behind boosting Mason's follower count, others expressed concern for the teenager's privacy and well-being in the spotlight.
