“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” the couple shared in a joint statement on Fox News.

The engagement comes after years of a discreet relationship. Despite their public personas, Hannity and Earhardt maintained a long-distance romance, keeping their personal lives out of the spotlight.

The couple expressed gratitude for the support of their children, noting that Hannity’s two children, Patrick and Merri—whom he shares with ex-wife Jill Rhodes—and Earhardt’s daughter Hayden from her previous marriage to Will Proctor, are “thrilled” for the pair.

Hannity and Earhardt also emphasized their ongoing positive relationships with their former spouses, stating, “We still get along well with them and made them aware this was happening ahead of time.”

The relationship, which began as an open secret, gained subtle attention over the years. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Earhardt hosted 'Fox & Friends' from a studio in Hannity’s Long Island home.

Hannity and Earhardt’s shared religious beliefs have been a cornerstone of their bond, with the couple meeting their minister shortly after the proposal to celebrate the milestone.
