Kate Hudson reacts to Val Kilmer's throwback post
The series of videos showed Kilmer filming Russell and other cast members in their trailers and film set. Kate Hudson, Russell's daughter, commented on the post to show her gratitude. "Oh wow! I love seeing this so much," she wrote, reports People.
‘Tombstone’ was a real-life 19th-century film depicting Old West figures Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp played by Kilmer and Rusell. The movie showed Earp's journey as he attempted to manage his life from a law enforcement officer to retirement, thwarted by continual run-ins with groups of outlaws.
Kilmer, on the other hand, bagged two nominations for his portrayal of Holliday at the 1994 MTV Movie + TV Awards.

Val Kilmer called Kurt Russell the only reason behind 'Tombstone's success
In an earlier personal blog, Kilmer held Russell "solely responsible for 'Tombstone’s success, no question" after the film changed directors mid-production, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
“I was there every minute and although Kurt’s version differs slightly from mine, the one thing he’s totally correct about is how hard he worked the day before, for the next day’s shot list, and the tremendous effort he and I both put into editing, as the studio [Hollywood Pictures] wouldn’t give us any extra time to make up for the whole month we lost with the first director,” he shared at the time.
“I watched Kurt sacrifice his own role and energy to devote himself as a storyteller, even going so far as to draw up shot lists to help our replacement director, George Cosmatos, who came in with only two days prep," Kilmer added, as per the outlet.

At the time of the film's release in 1993, Russell was 41 years old. He went on to act in 'Stargate' (1994), 'Executive Decision' (1996), 'Breakdown' (1997), and 'Vanilla Sky' (2001).
He then portrayed Herb Brooks, the gold-medal-winning hockey coach of Team USA, in 'Miracle' (2004). His more recent film credits include appearances in 'Furious 7' (2015), 'The Hateful Eight' (2015), and 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' (2017).
According to Just Jared, as of 2022, Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell were set to star in Apple's forthcoming live-action series that revolves around the world of Godzilla and Titans, reports MEAWW.
