The actress-singer, 31, announced on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 9, that it was time for a social media break amidst the mounting turmoil surrounding an incident that involved Chalamet and Jenner, as well as her friend Taylor Swift, 34, at the Golden Globes on January 7.

However, Chalamet, 28, affirmed that there is no bad blood between his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, 26, and Gomez, putting an end to the speculation of a dispute, per TMZ.

It happened after a clip of Gomez chatting up Keleigh Sperry and Swift at the 2024 Golden Globes went viral. The actor claimed that Jenner and Gomez are "good" and that he and Gomez get along well.

After the Golden Globe fiasco, Gomez reconnected with her boyfriend, music producer Blanco, with whom she had been dating since November 2023.

Other X users flocked to the comment section to chime along, with one saying, "She takes a break from social media three times a week".

A second one added, "She’ll be back tomorrow," while a third one noted, "She does this like 3 times a month now".
