LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Brady is reportedly feeling “lonely and sorry for himself” after his dating life is not taking off as expected.

While his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen is currently pregnant with her new boyfriend Joaquim Valente’s child, the former NFL star’s love life is not seeing an upward graph.

In fact, a source close to the former New England Patriots star has recently dished to In Touch Weekly that Brady’s love life is actually suffering due to his “attitude.”

Tom Brady is feeling ‘sorry for himself’

After Tom Brady finalized his divorce with Gisele Bundchen, the seven-time Super Bowl winner was in a short-timed relationship with supermodel Irina Shayk. After their romance fizzled out, the source shared that he is currently single.

“He’s not dating anyone and he’s feeling a little lonely and sorry for himself,” revealed the insider, while adding, “Gisele, meanwhile, is enjoying a holiday in Costa Rica with Joaquim and she’s got the kids, but Tom has to work and he’s feeling left out.”

Moreover, the source shared that the 47-year-old former NFL star is no longer the once confident and energetic athlete, but is currently facing the brunt of singlehood.

Though he will be seeing his children around Christmas, the insider shared that Brady does not have exciting plans scheduled during the holiday season.

“He’ll likely see the kids around Christmas, but it won’t be the festive season like in the past. Everyone has fun plans except him,” noted the source.

The former quarterback shares his 17-year-old son Jack with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan and 14-year-old Benjamin and 11-year-old Vivian with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.

According to the source, Brady himself is to blame for his unexciting Christmas as his self-pity is hindering his prospects.

“He’d be more popular with women if he wasn’t so awkward,” said the source.

Noting that he has lost some of his spark, the insider shared, “He doesn’t realize he’s the problem, he’s so self-absorbed and self-pitying and not what you’d call a romantic guy.”

“A lot of people think he’d have a better chance with the ladies if he stopped feeling sorry for himself and watching what Gisele’s doing all the time,” added the source.

Tom Brady opens up on the challenges of parenting

While the insider shared that Tom Brady is facing challenges in his dating life, the challenges are not only limited to finding the love of his life. Just a few days after Gisele Bundchen announced her pregnancy with the jiu-jitsu instructor, Brady confessed his shortcomings with parenthood.

Speaking at the panel discussion at the 2024 Fortune Global Forum in New York City in early November, he opened up about his experience as a parent. "All of the parents in the room know that being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have. And we screw up a lot," said Brady when he was asked about the challenges he faced in parenthood.

"And I've screwed up a lot as a parent," confessed the footballer, before adding, "I don't wanna seem like I'm some sort of expert in parenting, because I'm certainly not that."

However, he admitted that he strives to be a good father to his children and wants to be "dependable and consistent" in their lives.

He further added that he was inspired by his own parents in parenthood as he shared, "The blessing my parents gave me was when I was that longshot as a kid who was a backup quarterback on a freshman team, they never said, 'Man, don't do that. It's going to be too hard. Let's do something different. Let's think about another backup plan.'"

"They kind of said, 'You know what? Go for it.' And that's probably my parenting style," shared the star.
