NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Five years after sitting among the audience members on 'The View,' comedian Matt Rogers recently appeared as a guest on the show.

During Rogers' audience appearance on September 20, 2018, on 'The View,' singer Kelly Clarkson served as a guest.

Reflecting on that day, Rogers confessed feeling a pang of jealousy toward another audience member who received a 'special ticket' for being the singer's biggest fan.

"I am Kelly Clarkson's biggest fan. That's me!" exclaimed Rogers with 'The View' hosts. He added, "So I am sitting there, horrified that this person is having my moment."

Rogers later discussed the incident on his podcast, revealing that years later, he coincidentally encountered the same person at Clarkson's residence. There, they shared a hug and cleared the air, putting the past behind them.

Why did Matt Rogers adopt the title of 'Prince of Christmas'?

When host Sara Haines asked Rogers about crowning himself as the 'Prince of Christmas', he immediately replied, "Well, I googled it and no one had taken it!"

"We also hear that you are red-green colorblind, so does that pose some challenges when you are the 'Prince of Christmas?'" Haines enquired further.

The podcaster acknowledged the difficulty, at which host Joy Behar asked him what color is her outfit. Rogers correctly stated that it is green, but clarified that it may as well have been purple, "that's how bad it is."

"But I do a white Christmas because I can't do red and green," stated Rogers. Silver and gold would work for him too, he said after hearing host Whoopi Goldberg's suggestion.

While discussing how Christmas was the "friskiest" time of the year and the probability of Santa cheating on Mrs Claus, the topic shifted to Rogers' holiday album which features a song inspired by a break-up that he went through.

"Last year I was sort of in love during the Christmas season and it ended very quickly," he explained.

Thinking about putting a song in the album wishing the person well, Rogers said that he sat down and "couldn't remember a damn thing about the man!"

"The song is now 'Do you like this? Do you like that? Whatever it is,'" added Rogers, sending a flying kiss in conclusion.

"Is it called 'Who the hell were you?'" quipped Goldberg, to which he says it very well could be.
