Donald Trump asks for ‘peace’ after attacking Iran’s nuclear sites

Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social page, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran airspace.”

“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he added.

Extent of damage unknown

However, the exact level of the damage caused due to America’s bombing of Iran is not very clear yet.

On Sunday, June 22, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Dan Caine said that the examination of the sites “is still pending, and it would be way too early for me to comment on what may or may not still be there.”
