'Sending healing and love': Internet offers support to 'RHOSLC' alum Monica Garcia as she suffers 'heartbreaking' miscarriage

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Monica Garcia of ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ has had a miscarriage.

The 39-year-old reality TV star recently shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post on Sunday, April 28.

Taking to Instagram, the Bravolebrity wrote, "One thing I promised myself when opening my life up to all of you was that I was going to do it completely unapologetically and authentically raw as possible. I would show you my life in all aspects because that is what I agreed to do.”

Garcia went on to reveal the shocking news, writing, "Unfortunately, today I need to share a very heartbreaking aspect," and added, "there is no heartbeat.' I don’t have many words and I’m still processing all of this myself."

Along with the post, Garcia shared a black-and-white photo of her hand holding the hand of her boyfriend - who she has not named yet. 

She shared a second photo where she can be seen lying on an examination table wearing a hospital dress. Both Garcia and a medical professional can be seen looking at the monitor.

Mourning, she noted in her post, "As quickly as this happened, that’s how quickly things have changed.”

While opening up about her own grief, Garcia also remembered several other people dealing with similar grief.

"I am sending so much love to everyone dealing with miscarriages, fertility issues, pregnancy problems, if you have an angel baby, and everything in-between," Garcia wrote in her post, and concluded, "I love you and I’m so thankful for you.🤍🤍🤍.”

Monica Garcia is a mom-of-four

The TV star announced her pregnancy earlier this month when she appeared on Nick Viall's podcast ‘The Viall Files’, per People.

Garcia appeared on the RHSLC in season four but was relieved from the show in January 2024, just after a season.

As the mother-of-four appeared on the podcast, Viall asked about her future plans following her exit.

The TV star, who previously welcomed four children with her ex-husband Mike Fowler, revealed in the podcast that she was expecting her fifth children with her 29-year-old boyfriend. 

She shared on the podcast, "I literally just found out," before adding, "I have not told one f------ person except for my best friend."

"I literally went into urgent care for something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong," Garcia added before sharing, "And the doctor came in and was like, 'You're pregnant.' "

With her ex-husband, the TV star shares four daughters - Bri, 18, Jaidyn, 13, West, seven, and Kendall, six.

Fans of the RHOSLC alum too mourned the loss and shared love and prayers of healing to Garcia.

One of the fans noted, "I’m sorry for your loss Monica and family. Your little girls must also be very disappointed. Sending you all healing hugs."
