A few minutes into the show, Fallon quipped, "You're the voice of Ted, a very great Boston accent, but you're also one of the many voices of 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad'! And Tonight, I really would love it if I threw out a topic, maybe we could hear what each of these characters have to say. Maybe their New Year's resolutions."

Fallon then continued giving MacFarlane one character after the other, with the first one being Peter Griffin from 'Family Guy'.

Fallon went on to inquire about a range of characters, asking about Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin, Seamus, Quagmire, Stan Smith, and Roger from 'American Dad!' The culmination of his questions led to the final query -- What is Ted's New Year's resolution?

"Who else can do that? Who else? Seth MacFarlane. Who else can do that? That's unbelievable, buddy. Thank you for doing that," Fallon stated as MacFarlane replied, "My pleasure, my pleasure."
