LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Seth Meyers commended President Joe Biden’s recent executive actions aimed at safeguarding undocumented immigrants married to US citizens, quipping on 'Late Night' that these measures might particularly benefit Melania Trump.

According to NBC News, Biden’s initiative is expected to "shield about 500,000 immigrants from deportation." Meyers humorously suggested that this move could extend the reality TV series ‘90 Day Fiance’ by "20 more seasons," thereby delighting the show's fans.

Yet Meyers didn’t miss the opportunity to highlight one specific immigrant who could find the news especially welcome: "Melania Trump," whom he jokingly noted has rarely received such positive attention from a US president. "It’s the first time a US president has done something nice for Melania," Meyers said.

Melania Trump, who became a citizen in 2006 after obtaining her green card in 2001, has consistently maintained the legality of her immigration journey.

However, reports from the Associated Press revealed that she was paid for multiple modeling jobs in the US nearly two months before she obtained her work visa.

In a striking contrast to Biden's border policy, Melania's husband, former President Donald Trump, has campaigned to crack down on US immigration policies if reelected to office in the 2024 election and has often labeled illegal immigrants as "criminals."

During an interview with New York radio station WABC last month, the 2024 presumptive GOP nominee also declared that those crossing the border between the United States and Mexico are carrying contagious diseases with them.
