LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' celebrated the eponymous host's 50th birthday on December 28, 2023.
In light of the golden occasion, the show posted a throwback moment from December 12 when Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers went 'day drinking' and had a fun time making concoctions and singing Happy Birthday on Seth's request.
'Sing Happy Birthday in your best Cockney accent'
Sometime into the 'day drinking', their conversation took a humorous turn as Fallon asked a daring question about choosing between Oprah and Beyonce, referencing Lizzo's refusal to answer.
Meyers playfully declined to answer and redirected by jokingly naming his most-talented writer, Amber Ruffin, and his least-talented writer, Seth Reiss, who happened to be behind the camera.

The exchange ends with Dua asking if there are any more questions, and Meyers asking, "Sing "Happy Birthday" in your best Cockney accent."
The conversation then took a musical turn with Lipa's rendition of 'Happy Birthday' for Seth Meyers. Meyers humorously suggested doing it back to the singer, but they had another surprise in store: a request for Meyers to start rapping.

As per Entertainment Tonight, Meyers found himself utterly speechless when his show's crew executed a spectacular surprise in celebration of his special day.

The video opens with the revelation that Meyers believed he was heading to dinner with his agent after taping a show segment. As the footage starts, Meyers records the Corrections segment while backstage crew members adorn a dressing room. Unexpectedly, as Meyers prepares to leave the stage in his coat, the staff surprises him.
Clearly taken aback, Meyers expresses gratitude for the unexpected gift. The surprises continue as crew members arrange pizza and drinks on the main stage. Meyers is welcomed to a second surprise—an actual party.
