While Shania Twain has long been celebrated as a country music icon, her Las Vegas residency left many attendees perplexed, particularly with unexpected choreography and bold outfit choices, according to Whiskey Riff.
One performance in particular sparked a major debate. During her rendition of 'Any Man of Mine', Twain’s backup dancers adopted a provocative, Chippendales-inspired routine.
Internet was shocked as the dancers dropped to all fours, grinding and thrusting behind Twain as she matched the energy with dramatic moves of her own.
Yikes…

Social media quickly lit up with critical comments, with many suggesting the choreography clashed with the traditional Shania Twain experience.
“This isn’t the family-friendly Shania we know,” one fan commented while others felt "Bring back classy Shania.”
Another user commented, "I have seen Shania Twain 3 times in concert, wow has she changed.”
"I miss the old Shania. Even said that when her song came on the radio this morning. Bring back old Shania!!” a user said.

Shania Twain's outfit choices add fuel to the fire
In addition to the choreography backlash, Shania Twain’s wardrobe also came under scrutiny. A nude bodysuit she wore during a performance led some fans to draw unflattering comparisons, with one commenting, "Don’t sound like her. Looks like she has a diaper on. I would not go see her.”
The remark sparked further criticism, echoing previous complaints about Twain’s evolving style at events like the People’s Choice Country Music Awards.
"This is bad in every way. She needs to have more class than this and it sounds terrible," a user lamented.
