LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe didn’t hold back when discussing Tom Brady’s high-profile divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen. He suggested that the seven-time Super Bowl champion may have miscalculated what truly mattered in his marriage.

During the Friday, March 14 episode of his 'Club Shay Shay' podcast, Sharpe pointed out that Brady’s estimated $300 million fortune ultimately didn’t prevent the marriage from falling apart, Marca reported.

“I think the thing is, with Tom, he's probably thinking, 'I got all this money, why does she need to do that?' No, he's got all this money, and he still couldn't keep his ex happy,” Sharpe remarked, implying that financial security alone wasn’t enough to sustain their relationship.

Sharpe speculated that Bundchen may have been seeking something beyond wealth perhaps more time and emotional investment from Brady.

“Maybe she wanted time. Maybe she wanted attention. I don’t know what she wanted,” Sharpe said. “Tom seems to be happy. He's moved on. Clearly, she's moved on. But I think in the back of his mind, he's like, 'This was probably going on right in front of my face.’”

Brady and Bundchen finalized their divorce in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, and both have since moved on.

Brady is focused on his broadcasting career, while Bundchen recently welcomed a baby boy with her new partner Joaquim Valente.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is embracing a new chapter in her life with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, feeling “freer” and more fulfilled than ever, according to sources.

Bundchen, 44, was married to NFL legend Tom Brady from 2009 to 2022, and the former couple shares two children Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12. However, a recent insider told Page Six that the former model often felt overshadowed by Brady’s career during their marriage.

"She lived in Tom's shadow for a long time," the source revealed. But with Valente, a Jiu-Jitsu instructor, she has found a relationship where she feels more independent and supported.

The couple began dating in June 2023, and Bundchen is reportedly “absolutely loving” her fresh start. The source emphasized that while the model remains grateful for her past and cherishes her children, she is happier than ever in her new relationship.

Bundchen reportedly welcomed a baby boy with Valente in February 2024, according to People. While the couple has yet to reveal their son’s full name, it has been reported that his middle name is River.
