LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Veteran talk show host Sharon Osbourne offered some expert advice for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after the Duchess of Sussex unveiled her new lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard.

Meghan, 42, and Harry, 39, recently debuted a new website and announced the launch of their new brand, American Riviera Orchard, on Instagram.

The trademark application for American Riviera Orchard suggests that the company sells kitchenware and home goods retail, but royal experts question whether Harry would have approved of the idea.

The former 'X-Factor' judge and 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant recently opened up to JJ Anisiobi on 'TalkTV' about her opinions of the Sussex family.

Sharon Osbourne—who is no stranger to Hollywood success—responded on 'TalkTV' when questioned about the Duchess of Sussex's new venture, "If it's good quality and it's at a reasonable price, why not? It could work."

"I think they've got to stop making themselves so accessible," Sharon said, per OK! Magazine.

Sharon added: "It's like, you know, they turn up the opening of an envelope, and I think that they've got to really pull back. Less is more, and I don't think they've heard that."

In addition, the 71-year-old TV legend—who manages some of the world's most insane rock musicians—shared her thoughts on how the Sussexes should proceed to rebuild their career following a botched podcast and Netflix contract.

When asked if she believed it would be profitable, Sharon replied, "I think it depends. Everything depends on what she's flogging," per The Sun.

Sharon Osbourne claimed America is getting tired of Sussex royals

Sharon, who is permanently moving back to the UK after more than 20 years in America, claimed that the US was getting tired of the former royal couple.

When asked "Has America come to the point where they are just sick of the Sussexes now?" Sharon explained, "I think so."

"I think that, you know, they've tried so many different things, you know, a production deal, their podcasts… Now they're flogging household stuff."

"I mean, what else are they going to do? They've tried a bit of everything, and nothing's worked so far."

In January 2020, the couple left the UK and their job as senior working royals to live a more financially independent life in California.

Sharon even went so far as to earlier say that Meghan and Harry's incessant "moaning" has become tiresome for Americans.

The American resident Sharon continued by saying that Harry and Meghan's following is likewise "dwindling". "I think everyone is fed up of their moaning," she stated previously, per The Mirror.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to rebrand themselves

The Sussexes lost their lucrative Spotify deal in 2020, and their non-royal family-related Netflix films were not included in the top 10 lists on the platform. The pair was anticipated to make amends in the coming year, notwithstanding the monetary setback.

"Harry thinks the new brand is a great idea because it’s Meghan’s idea – he’s still so loved up that she can do no wrong in his eyes," Tom Quinn told OK! Magazine regarding American Riviera Orchard.

"But we have to remember that he grew up in a family that would’ve looked down on this kind of commercial enterprise, so there is a part of Harry that’s uncomfortable, which is why we are unlikely to see Harry personally baking cakes or demonstrating kitchen utensils."

Meghan had a well-liked Instagram following before becoming a member of the royal family, but she removed the account to concentrate on her role as a working royal.

Despite talking about the toll social media took on her mental health, Meghan has been spotted on American Riviera Orchard's social media pages since its announcement.

Meghan previously talked candidly about the influence the internet had on her throughout her pregnancy at a SXSW event.

"Yes, social media is an environment that has a lot of that [toxicity] …I keep my distance from it right now just for my own well-being," Meghan stated at SXSW on March 8.
