BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Jo Koy, the comedian who hosted the 81st Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 7, found himself in the center of online criticism after his joke about Taylor Swift did not land well with the singer.

At the ceremony held in Beverly Hiltons in Beverly Hills, California, the 52-year-old made a quip about the disparity between the airtime Golden Globes and NFL attended by the pop star to watch the games of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

What was Jo Koy's joke about Taylor Swift?

Koy humorously remarked during the live broadcast that "the big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift."

The camera then cut to the 'Karma' singer who seemed less than amused as she pursed her lips before she sipped her drink and gave a deadpan response as the audience reacted with a mix of laughter and gasps.
