LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The bitter legal dispute between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's fight over the $500 million Chateau Miraval winery has taken an intense turn.

The actress' legal team labeled her ex-husband's recent motion seeking access to Jolie’s non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with third parties as "abusive" and "unreasonable," as reported by Daily Mail.

Jolie's legal representatives condemned Pitt's request as "expensive," "wasteful," and an invasion of privacy.

The actress contended in court documents that her ex-partner requested her to sign a comprehensive NDA in their abandoned winery deal to prevent her from disclosing that he was abusive toward her and their children, including during a flight from France to California in 2016.

Earlier, Jolie's lawyers reportedly stated, "While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well."

The actress is now claiming in new court documents that turning over the other NDAs she had signed would be an invasion of privacy to other parties, presumably movie studios, brands, and employees, as it would reveal contracts that include Jolie’s compensation or compensation she paid to third parties, according to PageSix

Jolie's team also argued that Pitt wanted her to sign an unfairly "onerous" and "expansive" NDA, which would cover his personal misconduct, whether related to Miraval or not, in exchange for her selling her stake to him.

Their deal ultimately fell through, with Jolie attributing it to the NDA. She proceeded to sell her shares to a Stoli Group subsidiary. Pitt responded by opposing the Stoli deal, alleging that she unfairly sold the stake out from under him.

Earlier this month, DailyMail reported exclusively on the ongoing legal feud, labeled the "war of the roses," saying Jolie accused her "controlling" ex, Pitt, of "financially draining her" through their prolonged legal battle over the winery, which has persisted since their 2016 split.

Despite claims that he is "bleeding her dry," DailyMail uncovered that since their divorce after a ten-year relationship, Jolie's fortunes have surged. Contrary to depleting her finances, the publication's inquiry indicates that Jolie's association with Pitt has contributed to her wealth by nearly $100 million.

The funds have been acquired through loans, child support, gifts, and the millions she earned from selling her 50 percent share in Chateau Miraval, the property central to the dispute, with ten percent gifted by Pitt.

Despite appearing to claim financial strain in recent court filings, sources close to Pitt highlight that Jolie had ample funds to sign a deal for 57 Great Jones Street, a unique Manhattan space once owned by Andy Warhol and previously rented for $60,000 a month.

The 'Salt' actress apparently signed an eight-year lease for the 6,600-square-foot property to use as a store to promote her fashion label, Atelier Jolie.

A flurry of reactions ignited online as the high-profile feud intensified.

One wrote, "And ladies and gentlemen, The scorned woman of the year award, Goes to Angelina, Again!" while another expressed, "Honestly how long are these two going to continue this. They’re both wealthy, neither are anywhere near broke. This is just toxic and if they thought about their kids at all, they would’ve ended all this years ago. "

"Wow. She could have established an entire new life in the five years since their divorce. Instead, she chose this route. Bitterness and vindictiveness age the soul and the body. Brad, on the other hand, looks fabulous," said a person.

Someone else claimed, "Jolie has history and comes across as toxic. All situations like these involve a unique set of circumstances. Hope the children gravitate towards their father when they are old enough to make their own decisions as adults."

An individual shared, "She has huge issues. She won’t let him go."
