LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift may have upset some neighbors near the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, California, as TMZ reported multiple complaints about disruptions caused by the set of her secret project with Disney+.

Despite the criticism, Swift found support from her fans. However, recent updates indicate that the shoot has been canceled.

Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, faced sarcastic remarks online after a source close to them revealed that they are still in their honeymoon phase and aren't considering marriage at the moment.

The 'Lover' hitmaker and Kelce delighted Swift's fans recently with a romantic date night in Singapore following her Eras tour concert there. They were seen dining at the renowned Koma restaurant in Kallang, Singapore, accompanied by Swift's backup dancers.

Residents near the Hollywood sign were reportedly furious about the disturbance caused by a Disney+ production set linked to Swift. TMZ reported that the legendary Hollywood sign was used for a mysterious project involving Swift and Disney+, leading to disruptions in the neighborhood.

Neighbors viewed the three-day production as a major inconvenience, bringing in crowds and disturbance to their quiet lives. However, TMZ revealed that the shoot had been called off, with all equipment removed from the location.

TMZ also noted that various homeowner associations and groups were displeased to hear about Swift's presence in the area. The filming was originally planned for March 13, just a day before Swift released her concert film, 'Taylor Swift The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version)', on Disney+.



 

The film permit outlined the schedule for the shoot before its cancellation. Crew preparation was set for March 12, followed by filming on March 13, and set teardown on March 14. Aerial photography using drones was scheduled for the evening of March 13.

According to TMZ, the permit listed the now-axed project as "Disney + TS."

Internet users support Taylor Swift

An online user wrote, "Neighbours should be more tolerant of filming if they live next to the iconic Hollywood sign."

Another user wrote, "I'm not a taylor fan but if the production company got the appropriate permits and is following all applicable laws there is no issue here? If the neighbors dont like what the law allows, they need to get busy and change the laws, dont just whine about it."

A user commented, "There's been hundreds of projects filmed at the Hollywood sign for decades. They're just complaining because it's Taylor Swift so it gets them attention."

Another user commented, "Than you should not have moved near the hollywood sign. It has been filmed for years. "
