Taylor Swift trolled after data reveals female viewership of Super Bowl 2024 soared thanks to her presence
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Super Bowl LVIII witnessed an unprecedented surge in female attendees, setting a new record fueled seemingly by the presence of pop sensation Taylor Swift. Swift graced the event to support her partner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Kelce, recently in a podcast discussion, talked about Swift's viral beer chugging moment captured during the game, further solidifying her status as a pro in the eyes of fans. Cameras captured Swift and her companion, Avignone, effortlessly downing their mugs of beer amid roaring cheers from the crowd during the Super Bowl.
As the Super Bowl extravaganza unfolded, excitement among Swift's devoted fan base, fondly known as Swifties, reached fever pitch. Speculation ran wild about wedding bells ringing as soon as Kelce and Swift were spotted at the post-game celebration, joyously dancing to Swift's chart-topping anthem 'Love Story' in a heartwarming display of affection.
Taylor Swift might be reason of surge in female viewership of Super Bowl
According to the Daily Mail, recent Nielsen data reveals a significant increase in female viewership for Super Bowl LVIII. Women tuning in to the championship game on CBS and Univision saw a remarkable 24 percent surge compared to last year, while girls aged 12-17 showed an 11 percent increase.
The Daily Mail reports that overall, female viewership saw a notable rise, reaching 58.8 million with a nine percent increase. Nielsen suggests that part of this surge can be attributed to the presence of the singer 'Lover', who attended the game after flying in from Japan to support her boyfriend Kelce, who was playing for the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
