Inside Kate Middleton's photoshop fail

The Kensington Palace recently noted that Middleton who underwent a "successful" abdominal surgery on January 16 was "unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter," according to USA Today.

On Sunday, March 10, the palace posted the first official photograph of her since her hospitalization in January as they expressed gratitude to their supporters.

"Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day," read the caption of the picture captured by Prince William.

Middleton is seen seated on a chair surrounded by her four children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.

However, a day after they posted the picture, Middleton apologized after the Mother's Day portrait led to increased scrutiny of Kensington Palace after several leading photo agencies withdrew it due to alleged "manipulation" of the official royal family photo.

The Princess wrote on X, “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused."

"Did the gone girl princess Kate photoshop this for you?" a user wrote on X and another wrote, "Hilarious!!"

"Heard you're making fun of Kate's pics...you are a mean mom and should know better...Kate is going thru serious issues and you think it's funny...you are pathetic and heartless," a user tweeted.
