'Sit down': Nikki Haley trolled as she slams Donald Trump for filling top RNC posts with MAGA allies
WASHINGTON, DC: GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley ripped former President Donald Trump on Tuesday, February 13, for endorsing his chosen candidates to run the Republican National Committee (RNC).
Notably, Trump supported Michael Whatley, the leader of the North Carolina GOP, to replace Ronna McDaniel as RNC chair on February 13. McDaniel is anticipated to resign following South Carolina's GOP primary later this month.
Trump also endorsed Chris LaCivita, his senior campaign strategist, to be the RNC's chief operational officer, and his daughter-in-law Lara Trump to be co-chair.

During an interview, Haley said, "Now you go and you look at what he did with the RNC yesterday … he’s going and changing out leadership, so that it’s somebody that he prefers and his daughter-in-law to co-chair?"
She added, "He’s putting his campaign manager as the director? Are we gonna let him just take over the party that’s gonna control the convention, too? At what point do we not see the problem? We don’t have kings in this country."
Haley also brought up the proposal that would have made Trump the party's presumed nominee and was led by a former Trump campaign aide and RNC committee member.
In the end, Trump publicly opposed the initiative, which has subsequently been abandoned. But on Tuesday, February 13, during his announcement of the RNC leadership endorsements, Trump seemed to refer to himself as the party's "presumptive nominee."
Donald Trump's RNC leadership endorsements
During a statement on his RNC leadership endorsements, Trump said, "The RNC MUST be a good partner in the presidential election. It must do the work we expect from the National Party and do it flawlessly."
"That means helping to ensure fair and transparent elections across the country, getting out the vote everywhere — even in parts of the country where it won’t be easy — and working with my campaign, as the Republican presumptive nominee for President, to win this election and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" the statement read.
With less than a week to go before the first-in-the-South GOP primary on February 24, Haley is the last significant contender standing between Trump and the Republican presidential nominee.
Internet trolls Nikki Haley for ripping Trump's RNC moves
The move by Nikki Haley was not taken well by several internet users as they ended up trolling her. A user wrote on X, "Nikki is doing horribly in the polls", while another added, "Shes down 35%, and early voting has already started."
Another person wrote, "Let me get this right. @realDonaldTrump who is the leader of the GOP has no input in the GOP leadership. But, @NikkiHaley who is in last place (by far) does have input who can’t be in the GOP leadership? Ya makes sense."
A user also mentioned, "We don't have people who finish 3rd or lose to "NONE of the Above" calling the shots either. Sit down Nikki!!! The adults are talking."
