On July 21, two days after her death, a seemingly pre-scheduled post appeared on Knight's Instagram page.

It included a selfie and a caption reflecting on her relationships with various people in her life.

Slash and Meegan Hodges' family of four

Slash, the renowned guitarist of Guns N' Roses, first began dating Meegan Hodges in 1989. Their relationship was brief, lasting only that year.

Hodges shares two daughters, Scarlet Knight and Lucy-Bleu Knight, with her ex-husband Mark Knight.

During 2001 to 2014, Slash was married to Perla Ferrar, with whom he has two sons, London and Cash

After a significant period apart, the couple rekindled their romance in January 2015, shortly after Slash's separation from his second wife, Perla Ferrar.

Since then, they have been together, living in Los Angeles and sharing a life that includes Hodges' two daughters from a previous marriage. Despite the rekindling of their relationship, they have not married.

Prior to announcing Knight's death, Slash took to social media to inform fans about the cancellation of four shows on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival 2024 tour, which were scheduled from July 22 to July 27.

Earlier this month, Slash shared with People magazine that he had "put all [his] effort into every detail" to ensure the tour would be something extraordinary.

"I'm looking forward to it just being a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to really being able to open up and play my ass off for two hours every day for a couple months, and then also jamming with some of the people that we're going to be touring with," said the musician at the time.
