LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Controversial Kick star Adin Ross has apologized for reportedly playing a role in the recent arrest of Top G aka Andrew Tate, and his brother Tristan Tate.

The Tate brothers, known for their misogynist views, were arrested by Romanian authorities on Monday, March 11 on UK charges based on a tip-off that they had planned to flee Romania. As per reports by Rolling Stone, the information was revealed on a Kick livestream by their friend and fellow 'alpha male' streamer, Adin Ross.

Why were Tate brothers arrested?

According to a legal representative for McCue Law, which is the firm that represents four British women who made sexual offences allegations against Andrew Tate, UK judicial authorities issued a warrant for Tate's arrests and extradition after the firm was "informed" by one of their contacts that "an associate of Tate (Adin Ross) had discussed Tate’s intention to flee during a video on the gaming and livestreaming platform Kick".

In the clip which went viral, Ross appeared to be reading direct messages from Tate's chat box.

He said, “Andrew had hit me up. He said, ‘Hey, I’m gonna be leaving Romania soon and probably never coming back. If you want to come over and do a week of long streams and content before I leave, I think it’ll be big. And it’s never’- I’m sorry, he said, ‘It’s basically now or never'."

A spokesperson for the Tates told Rolling Stone, “We unequivocally deny any accusations that Andrew or Tristan Tate intends to abscond from Romania to evade the judicial proceedings."

The spokesperson further said that Ross “misconstrued Andrew’s message to him".

What did Adin Ross say in his apology?

Ross, who is a controversial streamer from Florida, was permanently banned from Twitch in February 2023 for promoting “hateful conduct” after posting uncensored racist and antisemitic comments from his fans.

The 23-year-old Kick streamer has been a longtime defender of the Tate brothers, who always proclaim their innocence on social media following their 2022 Romania arrest and detainment on various criminal charges.

During a livestream on Kick after the Monday arrest, the streamer said, "I really, really f***ed up. I apologized to Andrew and I'm really sorry to everyone else...his team and everything."

"But Andrew said 'It's OK, come down to Romania."

"And thank god he did not put back there because I would have felt really, guilty."

Ross added that he would "never do that purposely".
