WASHINGTON, DC: Vivek Ramaswamy has a unique presidential candidacy goal.

The Indian-origin Republican White House hopeful revealed one of his goals on X and shared a list of his town halls in Iowa ahead of the Republican caucus on January 15.

In the January 4 post, he wrote, "One of the goals of my candidacy for President of the United States is to close the gap between what people are willing to say behind closed doors versus what they say in public."

According to opinion polls analyses by FiveThirtyEight, Ramaswamy is in the fourth position behind his rival GOP presidential contenders, former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

Vivek Ramaswamy boosts up campaign in Iowa

The 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur made headlines recently over his remarks on White supremacy.

Asserting that he condemns "any form of vicious racial discrimination" in the country, he responded to a Washington Post reporter he said, "Institutionalized racism is institutionalized racial discrimination that we see that doesn't come from somehow discriminating against people on the basis of some tentative White supremacy."

Another instance from Ramaswamy's campaign was his demand to shut down the federal agencies, pointing out that the President has the right to do so.

The presidential hopeful is boosting his campaign in Iowa, and according to his website 'VIVEK 2024,' he will be attending six town halls alone on January 6 in different counties of the Hawkeye state.

Furthermore, he also pulled out of the CNN town hall scheduled for January 10 as he accused the news network of threatening him with a "cease and desist" after posting the December town hall video.

Calling the debate "fake" he chose to participate in another event moderated by conservative media person Tim Pool.
