LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After 36 long years, Michael Keaton's 'Beetlejuice' is back and the Internet can't keep calm about this.

This time the director, Tim Burton has given the title 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' to the horror comedy which is back and ready to wreak havoc upon the town of Winter River once again in its first trailer.

The film is all set to release on September 6.

About 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice'

Michael Keaton will be seen reprising his role as the ghoulish title character in the long-awaited sequel to director Tim Burton’s 1988 film.

Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara, the original 'Beetlejuice' cast members, have returned as Lydia and Delia Deetz, respectively, with Keaton. Jenna Ortega completes the family as Astrid Deetz, the newcomer.

As per Variety, Willem DeFoe plays a "police officer in the afterlife" and former "B movie action star," whose acting abilities aid him in his role as an afterlife detective. Monica Bellucci is Beetlejuice's wife. A new character, Justin Theroux also appears in the sequel.

Burton announced on social media last November that he had finished filming the 'Beetlejuice'  sequel after a months-long delay due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. In September, he revealed to The Independent that he only had “a day and a half” of filming remaining before the shutdown.

At that time he said, "I feel grateful we got what we got,” adding, “Literally, it was a day and a half. We know what we have to do. It is 99 percent done.”

Creators of the Ortega-starring Netflix series 'Wednesday,' Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, penned the script for the horror comedy, 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.'

The official synopsis for the sequel reads, "Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem."

A user wrote, "I'm blown tf away seeing the familiar faces, then Keaton!? My man, the OG, coming back. I'm beyond hyped."

Another user wrote, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" has got to be the most perfect title for a Beetlejuice sequel. I absolutely can't wait to see Michael Keaton return in one of his most iconic roles."

A user said, "All these years later and everyone stepped back into that world effortlessly. There was so much attention to detail in the trailer alone, it really feels like that world has been perfectly recreated."

Another user said, "It's amazing after 36 years the town looks similar. They built the house on the same spot as the original house. They built the covered bridge again. So epic!"
