MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA: Reality television personality Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell died on December 9, 2023, at the age of 29 after a 10-month battle with adrenal cancer. Her death coincided tragically with her younger daughter Kylee's 8th birthday.

A statement by Cardwell's mother "Mama June" Shannon confirmed that she died at 11:12 pm at Shannon's home in Milledgeville, Georgia, surrounded by her family.

Cardwell was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer in January 2023 that had spread to her liver, spleen, and lungs. She appeared alongside her family on the TLC shows 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' and 'Mama June: From Not to Hot', which documented her life and raising her two daughters -- Kaitlyn (11) and Kylee (8), according to TODAY.

Just a few weeks after the diagnosis, Cardwell posted on Facebook about attending Kylee's school recital, saying she couldn't believe she was going to “have a middle schooler and a second grader." She added poignantly, "Give me a minute while I go cry my eyes out I am so proud of my girls and everything they have accomplished.”
