She said that one of them changed the name to ‘Hot Divorce Summer’ inspired by the Megan Thee Stallion song ‘Hot Girl Summer.'

Bush told her co-host and 'One Tree Hill' alum Bethany Joy Lenz that the group chat was a source of laughter, wisdom, and solidarity for the women as E! News reported.

They exchanged lawyer recommendations, quotes from inspiring writers, book club suggestions, and funny memes from TikTok.

“At one point someone renamed it ‘Hot Divorce Summer.’ And I was just dying,” Bush said, adding “I was like the fact that we have this group chat that is literally giving everybody life..."

Bush even joked that they should make a movie out of their group chat. “Maybe we need to make that movie,” she said. “That’s the rom-com I want to watch, all the women getting free,” Lenz agreed.

When did Sophia Bush and Grant Hughes end their 13-month marriage?

Bush and Hughes were linked first in 2020 when they were soptted holding hands. However, they had remained friends for over a decade before getting romantically involved.

Sophia filed for divorce from Grant in August after 13 months of marriage. Grant then filed a response a month later with his documents citing "irreconcilable differences" and the date of their separation as June 27.

A source told Us Weekly that the breakup was not ugly and that they remained friends. “It wasn’t ugly and they are still supporting each other,” the source said, adding “They want each other to be happy and for their nonprofit to continue to thrive.”

Hughes, on the other hand, has nothing but good wishes for his ex-wife. His representative told PageSix in October that he was happy for Bush and her new relationship.

“Grant will always want the best for Sophia,” his representative said, adding Grant “is supportive of all that makes her happy and fulfilled.”
