Though bound by legal restrictions, she emphasized the beauty and depth of their relationship.

“We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard,” she said, alluding to the emotional toll of the separation.

However, the actress, who now resides in the UK, noted the comfort she has found in returning home.

“It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England,” she explained, adding that reconnecting with friends and family has been rejuvenating after six years abroad in Los Angeles and Miami.

While being back in London brings joy, Sophie Turner admitted that adjusting to life without her daughters when they are with their father has been challenging.

“When they’re away, it’s agony,” she said, highlighting the difficulty of shared custody.

The 'Joan' actress has long been open about her struggles with anxiety and depression. Turner also shared how motherhood has given her a purpose in life.

“Before I had kids, I was very depressed and anxious,” she reflected, adding, “Now, I think I live my life for them."

Sophie Turner's co-parenting focus and new beginnings

Despite the challenges, Sophie Turner has prioritized maintaining an amicable relationship with Joe Jonas for the sake of their children.

“Joe is a great father to our children, and that’s all I can ask for," she told British Vogue in May.

The actress, who has recently begun dating real estate developer Peregrine Pearson, is hopeful that she and Jonas can continue to co-parent positively.

“My dream is to have a huge Christmas where my daughters can have their dad there, Joe’s whole side of the family, their grandparents,” Turner shared.

“I don’t care about the politics; I just want the girls to feel loved and have everyone show up for them,” she added.
