'Special LA goodbye to Sam Rubin': Hollywood A-listers remember KTLA anchor after his death
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: KTLA’s veteran anchor Sam Rubin died on May 10 at the age of 64 after suffering a heart attack and since then tributes have been pouring in from all over the world.
Hollywood stars remembered the beloved presenter for his professionalism and intellect. He was associated with the network since 1991.
A-listers praise late anchor Sam Rubin
Among many to remember Sam Rubin was Emmy winner Viola Davis. “Your professionalism was unmatched by your kindness and humanity,” she wrote on Instagram. “I will miss your presence on The Red Carpet. God bless your loved ones. Godspeed," she wrote in the heartfelt tribute.

Comedian John Mulaney also during his Netflix show remembered the host, “A special LA goodbye to Mr Sam Rubin.”

Hollywood stars pay tribute to Sam Rubin
The 'Zoolander' star Ben Stiller, paid his tribute to Sam Rubin over X, "So sad and sorry to hear of Sam Rubin’s passing. Consummate pro. I did my first interview with him in something like ‘93, and countless times over the years.”
The actor wrote, “He loved actors and movies. He made everyone feel comfortable and it was always fun and easy. He was an institution. We have lost him way too soon.”
