DETROIT, MICHIGAN: On the July 13 episode of 'All In With Chris Hayes',  guest MSNBC’s Joy Reid lauded President Joe Biden’s address in Detroit on July 12, describing it as his "Come at me, bro" moment.

The president delivered a spirited and resolute speech in Michigan, declaring to the crowd, “I’m not going anywhere," also criticizing Trump for his numerous legal troubles, which include 34 counts of falsifying business records and being found liable for sexual assault, defamation, and fraud in separate cases.

Joy Reid applauds Joe Biden's vision for second term

After Biden’s speech, Reid praised him for laying out a vision for what he intends to do in a second term.

“This was well done,” she said, adding “I can’t say anything other than that’s the Joe Biden who I think Democrats who might be nervous needed to see. And for Democrats who doubted him, that was the ‘Come at me, bro Joe Biden. He ain’t going nowhere.”

Hayes responded, “We’ll see,” adding, “The future remains unwritten. I think he is dead-set on not going anywhere. It was, to me, the most comprehensive thesis of the campaign since the State of the Union."

Hayes continued by praising Joe Biden for articulating his case for reelection through "three pillars."

“[Trump]’s a menace, here’s what we’ve done, here’s what we are going to do,” he said, summing them up. "Here’s what our shared values are. That is a comprehensive 30 minutes. That’s the campaign.”

Joe Biden faces doubts over reelection bid

Biden is grappling with doubts about his ability to defeat former President Donald Trump in November and serve another term.

His debate performance against Trump in late June was notably poor, marked by frequent lapses in his train of thought. Follow-up interviews did little to bolster his standing.

Over a dozen congressional Democrats have urged him to end his reelection campaign, although most Democratic lawmakers have not made such statements publicly.

Additionally, actor and Democratic donor George Clooney penned a widely discussed op-ed in the New York Times, suggesting that Biden should step aside for a different nominee.

At his campaign event, Biden called former President Donald Trump a "loser" and vowed to stay in the 2024 presidential race.

Addressing union workers and voters in Detroit, he aimed to counter claims about his fitness for office following a poor debate performance against Trump in Atlanta last month.

“We’re going to say who he is, what he intends to do,” Biden told the crowd, adding, “Folks, Donald Trump is a convicted criminal. Convicted!”

Internet users slam Joy Reid’s praise of President  Joe Biden

Joy Reid’s acclaim for President Joe Biden’s Detroit speech faced backlash from viewers. They even suggested asking her how committed she is to Biden.

A  particular viewer expressed, "I can't take her seriously without her Trump wig."

Following suit, another observer added, "I never want to see the words "Joy Reid" and "gushes" in the same sentence ever again."

Additionally, a viewer pointed out, "This should be a fun thread, I love the way Joy Reid gets the idiot MAGAtardos foaming at the mouth."

A follower contributed, "Either step up or shut up. I'm tired of these people telling him to step down when nobody is stepping up. If nobody is going to step up and challenge him then everybody needs to STFU."

A comment underscored, "I think she’s the next to be quarantined."

Another comment echoed, "I guess Democrats are going back to pretending they don't notice he's senile."

An individual elaborated further, saying, "Ask her next week how committed she is to Joe."
