Stephanie Ann posts a heartfelt tribute to husband Adan Canto who died of cancer at 42, wishes to see her ‘forever treasure’ soon

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stephanie Ann Canto, the wife of Mexican actor Adan Canto, who died of appendical cancer at 42, shared a touching tribute.

She quoted a bible verse from Matthew 6:19-21 and called him a forever treasure and said she was going to see him soon.

Stephanie Ann posted a photo of her and Adan Canto on January 9, a day after his death on Instagram.

She wrote, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” She added: “Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon 💔,” she added in the post.

Adan Canto was a popular actor who starred in films like 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and 'Bruised', and TV shows like 'Designated Survivor', 'The Following', and 'The Cleaning Lady.'

He had a very private battle with appendical cancer, a rare type of cancer that affects the appendix.

Stephanie Ann Canto and Adan Canto had a loving marriage and two children

Stephanie and Adan got married in 2017 and had two children, Roman Alder and Eve Josephine, according to Hollywood Life.

Stephanie, who is an American sculptor, painter, and actor, often shared their happy moments on social media.

On their first anniversary, she posted a throwback photo from their wedding where Adan was kissing her forehead and wrote, “Every good and every perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no shadow of turning. You make me better.”

She also posted a sweet Father’s Day tribute to Adan in June 2022, with a picture of him kissing one of their kids on the beach.

She wrote, “Thank you for being the model of man. @adancanto. The kind our son will want to become and our daughter will want to find 🤍 We love you more than anything. Happy Papa’s Day!”

Adan Canto’s Instagram account shares a quote from JRR Tolkien after his death

After Adan’s passing, his Instagram account, which was presumably run by someone close to him, posted an inspirational quote from writer and philologist JRR Tolkien, who wrote 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit.'

The quote read, “There is some good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.” The caption said: “A man who never once complained and inspired so many. We love you forever Adan.”
