LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stephen Baldwin couldn’t contain his joy as he gushed about his new role as a grandfather.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the 50th-anniversary celebration of People + Chain in Los Angeles on September 13, the actor gave a heartwarming glimpse into his family life, including the arrival of his grandson, Jack Blues Bieber, born to Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber in August.

Stephen Baldwin embraces grandpa life with two grandchildren 

At 58, Stephen Baldwin seems to be fully embracing his grandpa duties, balancing time between his grandchildren - one from each daughter, Alaia and Hailey. 

“I’ve been hanging out with my four-year-old granddaughter Iris," he shared. "I’m in town to celebrate her fourth birthday and the launch of the podcast and all that," referring to his daughter Alaia's daughter, Iris Elle Aronow.

But while celebrating Iris’ milestones, another little one has stolen the spotlight: baby Jack Blues Bieber.

Stephen spoke warmly about his new grandson, saying, “And of course, here comes Jack Blues Bieber. And yeah, he’s just… I don’t want to say too much. He’s unbelievably cute.”

While keeping most details under wraps, he did tease that, “the world will see him soon,” hinting that the public might get a glimpse of the newest Bieber family member sooner than expected.

Justin Bieber, now 30, first announced the birth of Jack Blues in a tender Instagram post on August 23, sharing a sweet photo of the newborn's tiny foot, accompanied by the caption,

"WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻."

The announcement sparked an outpouring of love and excitement from fans and family alike.

Stephen, equally thrilled, followed up with his own message on X (formerly Twitter) on August 25, reposting the photo of Jack Blues' foot, writing, "#Congratulations Mr&Mrs Bieber 🎈 #Grandson ❤️‍🔥 #blessed."

As for the new parents, they are both over the moon.

Shortly after the arrival of their son, a source close to the couple revealed exclusively to PEOPLE that “the pregnancy was something that they very much wished and prayed for. The day they found out that Hailey was pregnant was the best ever for Justin."

The insider continued, "He was over the moon with excitement. It was a big celebration for them."

The source added that both Hailey and Justin are “overjoyed” after welcoming their son.

“The baby is such a miracle. He’s adorable and doing well. Hailey’s doing well too.”

And the joy doesn’t stop there. Hailey, 27, recently posted a photo on Instagram Stories showcasing a dazzling new ISA Grutman diamond and gold "MOM" ring, a sparkling tribute to her new role as a mother.
