Stephen Baldwin has come under fire from fans for responding to Kimmel's Oscars jab as the actor-producer appeared to belittle the late-night talk show host on his Instagram Stories.

The video, posted on Sunday, March 10, showed Stephen bringing up Kimmel following the host of a late-night talk show teasing his daughter during his Oscars monologue.

During the brief segment, the 'Usual Suspects' actor sported a yellow shirt with the words 'Bloody up' on the front. Sporting a pair of orange-rimmed sunglasses, Stephen said, "Hollywood is the Matrix. And its members are her slaves."

"You know how I know?? I've been behind enemy lines," he said. "I've worked with all those late night Jimmies."

"It just blesses my soul to see all these superpowers prancing and dancing before all these Jimmies, and then waking up in the morning and saying, 'Wow.' Now, that's freedom."

The actor subsequently gave a thumbs-up and turned off the camera, per The Sun.

Internet slams Stephen Baldwin and speculates about his mental wellbeing

The footage inevitably raised people's eyebrows. A commenter on Instagram commented, "He is so scary," under the relevant post.

Others characterized Stephen as "weird" and "creepy."

Another person added, "Y'all don't forget to pray tonight this has bad vibes," presumably about Stephen's Instagram post where he requested well wishes for Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber.
