LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel has started dropping promotional material to boost anticipation among fans for the fourth installment of the Captain America movies, starring Anthony Mackie, and it is none other than the key star of the movie donning his new suit as Captain America.

Mackie previously ignited a meme fest on social media after he revealed in an interview at Cinema Con that he is ready to take his sweet revenge on Spider-Man star Tom Holland, following a playful feud between the two 'Avengers: Endgame' co-stars at a 2021 fan convention, where Holland didn't shy away from teasing Mackie for not having a solo Marvel movie.

According to Comic Book Resources, Empire has unveiled the first official look of Mackie's new costume for his character, Sam Wilson, in 'Captain America: Brave New World'.

This new suit marks a departure from Mackie's previous appearance in his Captain America gear at the end of 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier', featuring darker shades of blue and a return to the goggles he wore as Falcon.

Director Julius Onah spoke to Empire about Mackie's role as Captain America and the challenges he faces in stepping into the shoes of Chris Evans' Steve Rogers.

Onah said, "It’s really his coming-out show. It’s about putting him through the paces."

He further asserted, "Part of the challenge for Sam as Captain America, working within the government, is the way he’s going to make decisions. The point of view he’s going to have will at times put him at odds with the President. Sam finds himself almost standing between Samuel Sterns and what he thinks the government owes him, and how he wants to go about getting that."

Mackie first appeared in the MCU as Falcon, serving as Captain America's right-hand man in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'. After Evans' Captain America retired in 'Avengers: Endgame', Sam took up the shield.

Screen Rant pointed out that Mackie's fresh outfit takes inspiration from Evans' 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' attire, embracing a sleek dark blue for that stealthy vibe.

However, Mackie's suit also throws in the classic red, white, and blue hues of Captain America's original getup, giving it that perfect blend of stealth and iconic superhero flair.

While Mackie's suit shares similarities with Evans', it also has its own unique features.

Instead of a helmet, Mackie's Captain America wears a red visor, and his suit includes wings reminiscent of his Falcon gear. Additionally, Mackie's suit features gauntlets instead of gloves, giving it a distinct appearance.
