‘Stranger Things’ stars Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo spotted on NY stroll after first look of Season 5

NEW YORK, NEW YORK CITY: Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo, stars of 'Stranger Things', enjoyed a playful outing in New York City on Wednesday, July 17.

This follows Netflix's release of the first look at the highly anticipated fifth and final season of the hit series on Monday, July 15.

Earlier this week, Wolfhard was featured in the first look of the final season of 'Stranger Things'. They were accompanied on their trip by Matarazzo's girlfriend, actress Elizabeth Yu, 21.

Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo seem to be on a house-hunting mission

The two Netflix stars, Woflhard and Matarazzo, were spotted holding hands while strolling through New York City, seemingly on a house-hunting mission.

Wolfhard appeared in a white long-sleeve T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up above his elbows. 

He paired it with navy athletic shorts, black Converse high-top sneakers, matching black socks, and a blue baseball cap covering his shaggy dark hair.

Matarazzo, beaming from ear to ear, looked like he was enjoying the time of his life. He wore a plain white T-shirt, baggy beige jeans, matching sneakers, and an orange cap over his curly hair.

Gaten's girlfriend, Elizabeth, looked effortlessly cool in a white shirt with 'A Film By Todd Haynes' written on it, referencing her supporting role in Haynes' acclaimed drama 'May December', which starred Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and Charles Melton.

She sported voluminous strawberry-blonde hair and wore round-frame sunglasses perched on top of her head.

The trio seemed to meet with a woman who gave them a tour of a building, as they were photographed following her up a set of stairs.

Fans of 'Stranger Things' can look forward to seeing more of Finn and Gaten when they return for the fifth season of Netflix's hit sci-fi/horror series.

'Stranger Things' is anticipated to return in early 2025, although an exact premiere date has not been announced yet.

As Netflix stars Wolfhard and Matarazzo were spotted during an outing in NYC, fans were left in awe. Despite some critical comments, many netizens described the sighting as adorable.

One user detailed, "Quite honestly what this looks like is Finn is making sure his best friend doesn’t go often an adventure or get hurt. Maybe Gaten is day drinking and Finn is being responsible.. some of y’all have never been on a drunk adventure and had someone look out for you and it really shows. This is what it looks like." 

The other wrote, "I think they are the two most unproblematic cast members of stranger things." One Twitter user claimed, "Nothing wrong here, just two friends holding hands there's nothing wrong with that." 

The fourth user dubbed "Nothing wrong here, this is adorable 🫶". Another called it, "There like a older brother , little brother vibe". The last user said, "I love this o much they grew up together and they're still the closest like awww"
